To rule out the DDs, Collagen IV, P63 negativity may be demonstrated.
Important:
The radiology findings may suggest the histological diagnosis. But keep in mind that, every breast carcinoma is Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC) unless proved otherwise in histology.
Ductal is the generic term for all breast carcinomas. The subtype histological component should be >90% of the tumour to be called otherwise.
Eg: An impalpable mass with radiology as in No.3 above.
Most probable diagnosis: IDC. Second most probable diagnosis: ILC
